Currency Trading For Dummies Review

I am a great fan of the Dummies books and actually started my computer programming career off by reading several Dummies guides related to computers.

The Currency Trading for Dummies is a brilliant book for anyone new to Forex training as it covers the very basics and also provides a heap of hints and tips. I learned quite a bit around the terminology used and how the market works which is something close to sheep :)

One topic that really stood out for me was the characteristics of the currency pairs. Each currency pair has its own characteristics or personality so its important to understand how the currency pairs you focus on work and react to different stimulus and market conditions.

The book covers:

  • Identify trading opportunities
  • Understand what drives the market
  • Choose a trading broker
  • Execute a successful trade
  • Minimize risk and maximize profit
  • Analyze currency charts

You still need professional Forex training such as what I did but also read this book as well. Plus also read “Trading in the Zone” for your traders mindset.
